Automatically extending door handles.The virtually invisible door handles sit flush with the bodywork of the BMW iX3. The vehicle immediately detects you when you approach it with the BMW Digital Key Plus on your smartphone or smartwatch. At a distance of around two metres, the door handles extend automatically and light up in the darkness.
Gaming, Streaming, Meeting.During breaks from driving, you can stream films and series or enjoy games directly on the Central Display. You can participate in telephone conferences while driving and even use video when the vehicle is parked. When it comes to entertainment, your BMW offers a wide and ever-growing selection of apps.
Highway Assistant.The Highway Assistant, available as an option in select countries, can maintain a speed of up to 130 km/h and manage your distance from the vehicle ahead if you wish. It is even capable of changing lanes. Once the system is ready, you can take your hands off the steering wheel, as long as you remain attentive to the traffic and are ready to take control if needed.
Driving Assistant Plus.The optional Driving Assistant Plus supports and relieves you while steering and braking. Upon request, it regulates speed and distance to the vehicle in front and helps you keep your BMW in its lane. The system automatically adjusts to detected speed limits and even slows down when approaching bends, roundabouts and junctions.
INTELLIGENT CONTROLThe BMW iX3 is powered by two specially designed 800 V electric motors featuring Gen6 eDrive technology. Positioned at the front and rear axles, these motors engage during acceleration and braking, precisely delivering the necessary power according to your needs and the driving conditions.
