The new BMW X6 is launched at Intercontinental, Dubai

On the 27th April 2008, AGMC revealed the new and highly anticipated
BMW X6 to Dubai, within the pleasant settings of the Intercontinental Hotel at Dubai Festival City.

Attended by Mohammed ben Sulayem, UAE champion rally driver and President of the Automobile and Touring Club of the UAE (ATCUAE), VIP’s and over 350 valued customers, the event revealed the new addition to the BMW X family and guests were treated to an evening of fine dining and entertainment.

The Master of Ceremony was Marwan Tadram, joined by Reiner Braun, Area Manager for BMW Group Middle East, who introduced the car to the crowd while on stage. The car was driven by Stathis I. Stathis, General Manager of AGMC, who joined Reiner to talk about his impressions of the car, explaining features such as xDrive and Dynamic Performance Control, and talking about the anticipated impact that the new BMW X6 will have on Dubai.

Following the show, there was the opportunity for guests to view the car on the stage, and further models of the BMW X6 were displayed outside, allowing the audience the opportunity to experience and explore the BMW X6.

The evening’s entertainment was provided by a number of artists during dinner, including a live jazz band and singer and some dynamic and energetic dancers – which included world champions from South Africa – reflecting the energy, power and dynamism of this car.
